LITTEN

This is another request from my Pokemon-obsessed customer on Etsy.  Litten is the Fire starter from Sun and Moon.  Most of the pattern for Litten comes from other Pokemon patterns that I have made before.  This pattern includes the color lists for both Litten and Shiny Litten.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis):  Black (white), bright orange, yellow, and white.
F crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

BODY:
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rds 6-13: sc in each sc around.  (30)
Rd 14: sc in next 11 sc, (sc2tog, sc in next sc) twice, sc2tog, sc in next 11 sc.  (27)
Rd 15: sc in each sc around.  (27)
Rd 16: sc in next 11 sc, sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next 11 sc.  (25)
Rd 17: sc in each sc around.  (25)
Rd 18: sc in next 12 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 11 sc.  (24)
Rd 19: sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 20: sc in next 6 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 6 sc.  (18)
Rd 21: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 3 sc.  (12)
STUFF BODY FIRMLY.
Rd 22: sc2tog around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 22, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

FRONT LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 5: (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 8 sc.  (10)  Change to bright orange.
Rd 6: sc in each sc around.  (10)  Change to black.
Rd 7: sc in each sc around.  (10)  Change to bright orange.
Rd 8: sc in each sc around.  (10)  Change to black.
Rds 9-10: sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 11: 2 sc in next 4 sc, sc in next 6 sc.  (14)
Rds 12-13: sc in each sc around.  (14)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff FRONT LEGS firmly.  Sew FRONT LEGS to BODY.

HIND LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)

Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (16)

Rd 7: sc in each sc around.  (12)  Change to black.
Rd 8: sc in each sc around.  (12)  Change to bright orange.
Rd 9: sc in each sc around.  (12)  Change to black.

Rw 1: With black, ch 19, working over a piece of floral wire, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (18)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew TAIL BODY to BODY.  Weave in ends.

TAIL POINTS:
Rw 1: Working in side of Rw 1 of TAIL BODY, attach black in side of foundation ch, (ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st) in same ch as attachment, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, (slip st, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st) in side of Rw 1.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

HEAD:
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.   (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)

Rd 3: sc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts, 2 hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sc.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew MUZZLE to HEAD adding stuffing before closing.

WHISKERS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With bright orange, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (3)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)
Rw 5: (ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st in next sc) 3 times.
Finish off.  Sew WHISKERS to HEAD.  Weave in ends.

TOP OF HEAD HAIR:
Rw 1: With black, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew TOP OF HEAD HAIR to HEAD.  Weave in ends.

EARS (MAKE2):
INNER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With white, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rws 4-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Finish off.
OUTER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With black, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rws 4-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rd 6: Holding INNER EARS and OUTER EARS together and working through both thicknesses, working in side of Rws, sc in next 5 Rws, 2 sc in free loop of foundation ch, sc in next 5 Rws.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.   Sew EARS to HEAD.  Weave in ends.

FOREHEAD MARKINGS:
Using bright orange, embroider FOREHEAD MARKINGS on LITTEN.

EYES, MOUTH, AND NOSE:
Embroider EYES, MOUTH, and NOSE on LITTEN.
