SPIDERMAN A.I.

This is the item requested by my returning customer that usually orders Pokemon.  This is his concept of a robotic Spiderman.  He has been obsessed with making robotic version of comic book characters.  

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Charcoal, gray, red, white, and black.
E Crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With red, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)  Change to charcoal.
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around.  (8)
Rd 5: (sc, change to red, 2 sc) in next sc, (2 sc, change to charcoal, sc) in next sc, sc in next 6 sc.  (12)
Rd 6: sc in next sc, change to red, sc in next 4 sc, change to charcoal, sc in next 7 sc.  (12)
Rd 7: (sc3tog) twice, sc in next 6 sc.  (8)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew KNEE GUARDS to LEGS.  Weave in ends.

CALF SIDE PLATES (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With red, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (4)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc2tog.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew CALF SIDE PLATES to LEGS.

ANKLE BRACELETS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 16, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (15)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap ANKLE BRACELET around ankle and sew together.  Weave in ends.

CHEST SPIDER:
Rd 1: With red, ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 2 ch, 2 sc in next ch, slip st in first sc.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using tail, sew CHEST SPIDER.  Using surface chain stitch, embroider spider legs coming from CHEST SPIDER on BODY.  Using black, embroider spider symbol on CHEST SPIDER.

WRIST GUARDS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 6, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (5)
Rws 2-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (6)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc.  (7)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog.  (6)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc.  (5)
Rws 10-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using yellow, embroider jewel on WRIST GUARD.  Wrap WRIST GUARD around wrist of ARM and sew together.  Weave in ends.

ARM BAND:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 16, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (15)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap ARM BAND around bicep of ARM and sew together.  Weave in ends.

BELT:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 33, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (32)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 14 sc, slip st in next 4 sc, sc in next 14 sc.  (32)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap around waist of RED TIGER POWER RANGER.  Sew together.  Tack stitch the BELT to BODY.  Weave in ends.  Using red, embroider markings on top edge of BELT.

BELT BUCKLE:
Rd 1: With gray, ch 2, (2 sc, change to red, 2 sc, change to gray, 2 sc) in second ch from working around ch, slip st in first sc.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew BELT BUCKLE to front center of BELT.  Weave in ends.

BACK SPIDER:
Rd 1: With black, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, 2 sc in next ch, (sc, dc, sc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next ch, slip st in first sc changing to red.  (9)
Rd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in next sc, ch 14, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next 4 ch, sc in next 7 ch, sc in next sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, sc in same sc as sc before ch-10, sc in next 2 sc, (sc, dc, sc) in next st, sc in next 3 sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, sc in same sc as sc before ch-10, ch 14, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next 4 ch, sc in next 7 ch, 2 sc in next sc, slip st in first sc.
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew BACK SPIDER to BODY.  Using red, embroider small legs on BACK SPIDER.

EYES, FOREHEAD JEWEL, AND HEAD STRIPES:
Using white and black, embroider EYES on head of BODY.  Using yellow, embroider FOREHEAD JEWEL on head of BODY.  Using black, embroider HEAD STRIPES on head of BODY.

BACK OF HEAD PORT:
Rd 1: With red, ch 3, 2 sc in second ch from hook, 2 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loop of foundation ch, 2 sc in next ch, slip st in first sc.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew BACK OF HEAD PORT to head of BODY.  Using black, embroider black center on BACK OF HEAD PORT.

This is a pattern for Bullseye.  He is Sheriff Woody’s and Jessie’s faithful companion.  This was a request from a customer of mine on Etsy.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Café latte, coffee, and peach.

Black and white craft felt

LEGS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With coffee, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)

OUTER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With peach, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook.  (1)

Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EARS to HEAD.

TAIL AND MANE:
Using brown craft form and pattern below, cut out TAIL and MANE and glue them to BULLSEYE.

EYES AND EYEBROWS:
Using black and white craft felt and pattern below, cut out EYES and IRISES and glue the to BULLSEYE.  Using coffee, embroider EYEBROWS on HEAD of BULLSEYE.
