LUNA LOVEGOOD'S WAND

This is a pattern for Luna Lovegood’s wand from the Harry Potter movies. This was a request from my boss at work after I showed him Harry Potter’s wand, Voldemort’s wand, and Elder wand I made for me and my wife for a Harry Potter themed New Year’s Eve party back in 2018. He also requested Hermione Granger’s wand. These are for his daughter’s birthday.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: café latte
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfill
Wooden dowel
Tapestry needle

WAND:
Rd 1: With café latte, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around. (12)
Rds 4-6: sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (14)
Rds 8-10: sc in each sc around. (14)
Rd 11: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (16)
Rds 12-14: sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 15: (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rds 16-19: sc in each sc around. (18)

HANDLE TULIP POINTS:
Rd 1: Working in free loops of Rd 2, attach café latte, ch 1, [(hdc, dc) in next sc, (dc, hdc) in next sc, slip st in next sc] around.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

HERMIONE GRANGER'S WAND

This is a pattern for Hermione’s wand from the Harry Potter movies. MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: taupe.
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfill
Wooden dowel
Tapestry needle

WAND:
Rd 1: With taupe, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around. (12)
Rds 4-22: sc in each sc around. (12)
CONTINUE STUFFING WAND AROUND WOODEN DOWEL AS YOU GO ALONG
Rd 23: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (8)
Rds 24-35: sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 36: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (6)
Rds 37-64: sc in each sc around. (6)
Rd 65: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 65, pull tightly and secure. Weave in ends.

LEAVES (MAKE 5):
Rw 1: With taupe, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (3)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LEAVES to various places, mostly attached at the ends of 2 SMALL VINES, at the end of each branch of the SPLIT VANE, and at the end of the LARGE VINE. Weave in ends.

LARGE VINE:
With taupe ch 95. Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LARGE VINE to WAND wrapping it around WAND. Weave in ends.

SMALL VINES (MAKE 3):
With taupe, ch 7. Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SMALL VINES to WAND in various places attached to LARGE VINE. Weave in ends.

SPLIT VINE:
MAIN VINE BRANCH OF SPLIT VINE:
With taupe, ch 14. Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SPLIT VINE to WAND with 1 LEAF at the end. Weave in ends.
SMALL BRANCH:
With taupe, ch 3. Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SMALL BRANCH to MAIN BRANCH, WAND, and 1 LEAF at the end. Weave in ends.

LARGE EASTER BUNNY PEEP

I made a couple of small Easter Bunny Peeps to decorate my desk at work for Easter. My coworker asked if I could make a larger one for her daughter. Of course, I said yes. This is the pattern I designed for the larger version. This pattern can be made in any color. My coworker picked the color for the bunny peep.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: body color (BC) and black
F crochet hook
Tennis ball or Polyester Fiberfill
Tapestry needle

BUNNY EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With BC, 6 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc. (6)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (12)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (12)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (18)
Rd 5: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (24)
Rds 6-14: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (24)
