FALL WITCH

This is a doll of a with in fall colors.  This was requested by my co-worker.  When she asked me to make her a witch, I showed her several ideas for a witch.  She told me that she wanted a pretty witch, not one that was scary.  She brought a picture of the witch that this doll is based on.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  buff, café latte, coffee, white, baby pink, burnt pumpkin, black, and claret.
Polyester fiberfill

Take handful of 4 inch pieces of claret.  Insert wooden skewer in middle of grouping of pieces of claret yarn.  Tightly wrap coffee yarn around grouping of pieces of claret.  Make sure that it is tightly enough to keep skewer from coming out.  Insert in stitches of hands of FALL WITCH.

This is a request from a co-worker’s husband that is a huge G.I.JOE fan.  I must say that I am right there with him.  He wanted the doll to be fashioned after the Cobra Commander from the comic and cartoon series that we watched when we were children.

GLOOM

This is the next Pokemon on my daughter’s “To Do” list that she gave me.  This is mostly made up of original generation Pokemon.  I guess this is because they mostly make up the Pokemon that you can get in PokemonGo, which my daughter is obsessed with.  Here is the pattern that I came up with for Gloom.  The pattern includes the color list for both Gloom and Shiny Gloom.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors are in parenthesis):  royal blue (spring green), burgundy (carrot), passion pink (orange), white, black, and hot red (orange).

ROSELIA

This is the next in a very long list of requests from a Pokemon-obsessed Etsy customer that I have.  Roselia is considered a basic Pokemon in the game.  She has a baby form (Budew) and an evolved form (Roserade).  Budew is on my daughter’s wish list.  Making Roselia will probably remind her of that.  This pattern includes the color for both Roselia and Shiny Roselia.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors are in parenthesis):  Green (leaf green), light green, yellow (gold), passion pink (orchid), aqua (black), and black.
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Floral wire

ROSES (MAKE 2 – 1 IN PASSION PINK AND 1 IN AQUA):
Rw 1: With passion pink or aqua, ch 90, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (89)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (89)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, [skip next sc, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc] 22 times.
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Roll up ROSE and sew together making sure that you make completely secure it together.
