POE


Poe is an interesting character. He is part of trio of musical ravens. The other two are called Edgar and Allen. They are characters from the television series Ruby Gloom. The biggest issue I had with making Poe was his size.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: black, pewter, white, teal, gold, and purple.
B crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
White chenille stem (cut in half)

FEET TOP (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With pewter, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2) Change to white.
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (2)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc. (3)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Insert chenille stem.

FEET BOTTOM (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With pewter, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (2)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc. (3) Change to white.
Rw 5: Ch 1, holding FEET TOP and FEET BOTTOM together with wrong side facing and working through both thickness, sc in side of the next 3 Rws, change to pewter, sc in side of the next Rw, 3 sc in free loops of foundation ch, sc in side of next Rw, change to white, sc in side of next 3 Rws, change to pewter, working in top of Row 4, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next 3 sc, join with slip st in first sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With white, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (4)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4) Change to white.
Rws 3-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap LEGS around chenille stem. Sew Rw 1 and Rw 4 together. Sew white end of LEGS to FEET. Weave in ends.

ARMS (MAKE 2):

Rd 1: With white, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch.
Rd 2: Working in the side of Rd 1, ch 1, sc in evenly across. (6)
Rds 3-12: sc in each sc around. (6)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Stuff ARMS firmly.

SHIRT EDGING:

DOOM KITTY


This is another character from the television series called Ruby Gloom. This is Doom Kitty. Most of the pattern for Doom Kitty comes from the pattern of Caroline’s Cat.

SWIRLIX

This is another Pokemon on my daughter’s always growing “To Do” list that she started when Pokemon Go came out. Once again, it took a customer on Etsy requesting Swirlix for me to finally get around to making it for her. This pattern includes the yarn colors for making Swirlix and Shiny Swirlix.

IRIS RUBY GLOOM

This is a request from a customer on Etsy. This is the same customer that requested Ruby Gloom and Misery from a Canadian Flash-animated television series on the Mighty Fine apparel line of the same name created by cartoonist Martin Hsu. This is the pattern for Iris. An E crochet hook is used for everything except the HAIR BOW.

SHINX

Shinx is an interesting Pokemon. I am not sure what kind of creature Shinx and his evolutions are. I think that they are cats. This pattern includes the color lists for both Shinx and Shiny Shinx.

BABY YODA BACKPACK

My daughter saw a Baby Yoda Backpack at Walmart. She asked if I could make her something similar. I told her that I could. We took a few reference pictures of the backpack. This is the pattern that I came up with for my version of the Baby Yoda Backpack. This pattern is made holding 2 strands of yarn together.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Frosty green, medium thyme, off white, baby pink, black, and white.
I crochet hook
Tapestry needle
2 22-inch zipper
Sewing thread matching zipper color
Sewing needle
2 1” Belting/Strapping (each cut in half)
2 Strap adjusters

BOTTOM:

Here is another character from the Digimon game. This is a request from a customer on Etsy. I do not know much about the Digimon game. I know that it is like Pokemon. Herissmon is the middle evolution stage. His previous form is Pusurimon. His next evolution form is Filmon.
