BULLSEYE

This is a pattern for Bullseye.  He is Sheriff Woody’s and Jessie’s faithful companion.  This was a request from a customer of mine on Etsy.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Café latte, coffee, and peach.
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Brown craft foam
Black and white craft felt
Yarn Needle

LEGS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With coffee, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rds 4-6: sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 7: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 3 sc.  (12)  Change to café latte.
Rds 8-16: sc in each sc around.  (12)
STUFF LOWER PORTION OF LEGS FIRMLY.
Rw 17l Flatten Rd 16, working through both thicknesses, sc in next 6 sc.
Rd 18: Ch 1, turn; working in front loops only, sc in next 6 sc, working in back loops, sc in next 6 sc.  (12)
Rds 19-25: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff upper portion of LEGS firmly.

BODY:
Rd 1: With café latte, 8 sc in magic ring.  (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (32)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (40)
Rds 6-7: sc in each sc around.  (40)
Rd 8: sc in next 14 sc, holding next sc on BODY and both thicknesses of LEGS together and working through all thicknesses, sc in next 6 sc, holding next sc on BODY and both thicknesses of LEGS together and working through all thicknesses, sc in next 6 sc, sc in next 14 sc.
Rds 9-23: sc in each sc around.  (40)
Rd 24: sc in next 20 sc, holding next sc on BODY and both thicknesses of LEGS together and working through all thicknesses, sc in next 6 sc, holding next sc on BODY and both thicknesses of LEGS together and working through all thicknesses, sc in next 6 sc, sc in next 8 sc.
Rd 25: sc in each sc around.   (40)
Rd 26: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around.  (32)
Rd 27: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (24)
Rd 28: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (16)
STUFF BODY FIRMLY.
Rd 29: sc2tog around.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 29, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

NECK:
Rd 1: With café latte, ch 24, slip st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around.  (24)
Rds 2-6: sc in each sc around.  (24)
NOW WORKING IN ROWS.
Rw 7: slip st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as slip st, sc in next 11 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked.  (12)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 12 sc.  (12)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 12 sc, working in side of Rws, sc in next 2 Rws, working in unworked sc of Rd 6, sc in next 12 sc, working in side of Rws, sc in next 2 Rws, slip st in first sc.  (28)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew NECK to BODY.  Stuff NECK firmly.

HEAD:
Rd 1: With peach, 8 sc in magic ring.  (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rds 4-6: sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 7: (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next 16 sc.  (20)
Rd 8: sc in each sc around.  (20)  Change to café latte.
Rds 9-10: sc in each sc around.  (20)
Rd 11: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 6 times, sc in next 2 sc.  (26)
Rd 12: sc in each sc around.  (26)
Rd 13: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 8 times, sc in next 2 sc.  (34)
Rds 14-15: sc in each sc around.  (34)
Rd 16: sc2tog, sc in next 16 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 14 sc.  (32)
Rd 17: sc in each sc around.  (32)
Rd 18: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (24)
Rd 19: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (16)
Rd 20: sc in each sc around.  (16)
STUFF HEAD FIRMLY.
Rd 21: sc2tog around.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 21, pull tightly and secure.  Sew HEAD to NECK adding any stuffing to achieve shape.  Using black, embroider mouth on HEAD.

NOSTRILS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With peach, ch 6, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew NOSTRILS to HEAD.

EARS (MAKE 2):
INNER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With peach, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook.  (1)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc.  (2)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc.  (4)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.
OUTER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With peach, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook.  (1)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc.  (2)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc.  (4)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rw 5: Holding INNER EARS and OUTER EARS together and working through both thicknesses, working in side of Rws, ch 1, sc in next 4 Rws, 3 sc in free loop of foundation ch, working in side of Rws, sc in next 4 Rws.  (11)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EARS to HEAD.

TAIL AND MANE:
Using brown craft form and pattern below, cut out TAIL and MANE and glue them to BULLSEYE.

EYES AND EYEBROWS:
Using black and white craft felt and pattern below, cut out EYES and IRISES and glue the to BULLSEYE.  Using coffee, embroider EYEBROWS on HEAD of BULLSEYE.
