MINION CHESS SET

This a chess that was inspired by the Minions from Despicable Me 2.  It also gave my wife a reason to learn how to play chess.  This pattern is a little complicated because if you not know how to read a graph to make a crocheted item this is not a pattern for you.  I will try to make it as easy as I can.

 MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  bright yellow, delft blue, red, lavender, navy blue, white, black, gray, buff, burgundy, and gold.
B nd G crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Craft foam – Purple, yellow, black, and white
Glue gun
32 1” diameter cardboard circles
Silver paint
Paintbrush

BOTTOM OF EACH PIECE:
Color will depend on which piece that you are making.
