Castform was an easy Pokemon to make. He is basically one large ball on top of two smaller balls with eyes, hair tuff and tail. The tail is made of three pieces that are sewn together before attaching it to Castform.
MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Gray and white
Small amount of black and white sport weight yarn
Crochet Hook F and C
Fiberfil
Yarn Needle
HEAD:
With Gray,
Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around, working in front loops only for 6 sc (18)
Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rd 7-12: sc in each sc around (36)
Rd 13: sc in next 4 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (30)
Rd 14: sc in next 3 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (24)
Rd 15: sc in next 2 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (18)
Begin stuffing at this point, continue stuffing as you progress
Rd 16: sc in next sc, dec in next 2 sc around (12)
Rd 17: dec in next 2 sc around (6)
F/O leaving a long tail. Add any more stuffing if needed to finish the shape out. Thread the tail through the last round and pull tightly to close. Weave in ends.
HAIR TUFF:
With Gray and working in free loops of Rd 2.
Row 1: sl st in first free loop, sc in same sc as sl st, sc in next 5 sc, ch 1, turn (6)
Row 2: dec in next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc, dec in next 2 sc, ch 1, turn (4)
Row 3-4: sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (4)
Row 5: dec in next 2 sc across, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 6-7: sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 8: dec in next 2 sc, ch 1, turn (1)
Row 9-10: sc in next sc, ch 1, turn (1)
F/O. Weave in ends.
EYES (Make 2):
With white,
Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
F/O leaving a long enough tail to sew eyes together and then to head. Weave in ends.
IRIS (make 2):
With white sport weight yarn and C hook,
Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring, changing to black in last sc (or in join sl st if joining rounds) (6)
Rd 2: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next 4 sc, sc in next sc (10)
F/O leaving a long enough tail to Iris to Eyes. Use picture as reference as to where to sew Iris to Eye. Weave in ends.
LEG BALLS (make 2):
With Gray,
Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
