#187 Hoppip


Hoppip reminds me of a tomato with ears and legs.  Hoppip was pretty easy to make.  Hoppip only took about three hours to make.  I wish that all of the Pokemon that I make was this easy.  I hope that Skiploom is as easy as his little sibling.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn:  Rose and Green
Small amount of black, red and yellow yarn
Crochet Hook F
Fiberfil
Yarn Needle

BODY:
With Rose,
Rd 1:               6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2:               2 sc in each sc acound (12)
Rd 3:               sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rd 4:               sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rd 5:               sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rd 6:               sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rd 7:               sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (42)
Rd 8-9:            sc in each sc around (42)
Rd 10:             sc in next 5 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (36)
Rd 11:             sc in next 4 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (30)
Rd 12:             sc in next 3 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (24)
Begin stuffing at this point, continue stuffing as you progress
Rd 13:             sc in next 2 sc, dec in next 2 sc around (18)
Rd 14:             sc in next sc, dec in next 2 sc around (12)
Rd 15:             dec in next 2 sc around (6)
F/O leaving a long tail.  Add any stuffing needed to finish out the shape, weave the tail through the last round and pull to close.  Weave in ends.

LEGS (make 4)
With Rose,
Rd 1:               6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2:               sc in each sc around (6)
F/O leaving a long enough tail to sew to body.  Sew to body and weave in ends.

TAIL:
With Rose,
Rd 1:               6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rd 2-3:            sc in each sc around (6)
Rd 4:               (dec in next 2 sc) twice, 2 sc in next 2 sc (6)
Rd 5-6:            sc in each sc around (6)
F?O leaving a long enough tail to sew to body.  Sew to body and weave in ends.

EARS (make 2—one of each piece for each ear)
Outer Ear:
With Rose, ch 2,
Row 1:            2 sc in second ch from hook, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 2:            2 sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (4)
Row 3-4:         2 sc in next sc, sc in each sc across to last sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn (8)
F/O leaving a long enough tail to sew pieces together and sew ear to body.  Weave in ends.

Inner Ear:
With Black, ch 2,
Row1:             2 sc in second sc from hook, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 2:            2 sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (4)
Row 3-4:         sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (4)
F/O.

EYES (make 2):
With Yellow,

F/O leaving a long enough tail to sew eyes to body.  Weave in ends.

MOUTH:
With Red, ch 3,
