FORTNITE "NO SKIN"

This is an adaptation of my male doll pattern to look like a character from the game called Fortnite.  I asked for the character’s name and the response I got was that it is referred to as “No Skin.”  He the character that everyone begins the game with before customizing the character the way that you would want him to look.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  buff, thyme, taupe, café latte, olive, chocolate, gray, black, white, carrot, and gold.
E Crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Black embroidery floss (310)

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around.  (8)
Rd 5: 3 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 6 sc.  (12)
Rd 6: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 7: (sc3tog) twice, sc in next 6 sc.  (8)
Rd 8: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (6)
Rd 9: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
BEGIN STUFFING ARMS FIRMLY.  CONTINUE STUFFING ARMS FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 10-18: sc in each sc around.  (8)  Change to white.
Rd 19: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (10)
Rds 20-23: sc in each sc around.  (10)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

LEFT HAND GLOVE:
Rw 1: With thyme, ch 14, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (13)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 11 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked.  (11)
Rws 3-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (11)
Rw 5: Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in next 11 sc.  (13)
Rws 6-7: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (13)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap GLOVES around hand portion of ARMS and sew sides together leaving an opening for the thumb.  Weave in ends.

RIGHT HAND GLOVE:
Rw 1: With shocking pink, ch 14, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (13)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 11 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked.  (11)
Rws 3-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (11)
Rw 5: Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in next 11 sc.  (13)
Rws 6-10: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (13)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap GLOVES around hand portion of ARMS and sew sides together leaving an opening for the thumb.  Weave in ends.

ARM BAND:
With carrot, ch 14, wrap ARM BAND around RIGHT ARM, slip st in tenth ch from hook working through ARM, ch 3.  Finish off.

Rd 1: Attach thyme, ch 1, sc evenly around neck opening of BREASTPLATE with extended sc in center sc of front and back of BREASTPLATE.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

POCKET:
Rw 1: With thyme, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch.  (2)

THIS WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO PLACE THE CHEST JACKET ON FORTNITE NO SKIN.  IT WILL VERY DIFFICULT TO SLIP THE HEAD THROUGH THE NECK OPENING ON THE CHEST JACKET ONCE THE HEAD IS STUFFED AND CLOSED.

EARS (MAKE 2)
Rw 1:   Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EARS to HEAD.

NOSE
Rw 1:   Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch.  (2)
Rw 2:   Ch 1, turn; sc2tog.  (1)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew NOSE to HEAD bunching Row 1 together.

EYES, EYEBROWS, AND MOUTH:
Embroider EYES, EYEBROWS, and MOUTH on face of DOLL.

HAIR:
Fringe gold yarn as hair on DOLL.  Style hair as desired.

PANTS:
Rw 1: With thyme, ch 33, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (32)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (32)  Change to taupe.
Rws 3-11: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (32)
Rw 12: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, slip st in first sc.  (32)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using gray, embroider belt buckle on PANTS.  Using taupe, embroider belt loops on PANTS.

RIGHT PANT LEG:
Rd 1: With right side facing, skip next 8 sc, attach taupe in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 7 sc, skip next 16 sc, sc in next 8 sc.  (16)
Rws 2-14: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around.  (16)
Finish off leaving a long tail.

LEFT PANTS LEG:
Rw 1: With right side facing, working in skipped sc, skip next 8 sc, attach taupe in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 7 sc, working in skipped sc, sc in next 8 sc.  (16)

Finish off leaving a long tail.   Place PANTS on DOLL and sew PANTS LEG seams and back seam closed.

PANTS POCKET:

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Fold down Rw 8 and sew down.  Sew PANTS POCKET to PANTS.

PATCH:

Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Using café latte, sew PATCH to PANTS.

RIGHT LEG STRAPS (MAKE 2):
With black, ch 18, finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap around RIGHT LEG and sew together.  Weave in ends.

SHIN GUARDS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With olive, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, hdc in next 3 ch, (hdc, 4 dc, hdc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loop of foundation ch, hdc in next 3 ch, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next ch.  (19)
Rd 2: sc in next 8 sts, 2 sc in next 2 sts, sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (22)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Using chocolate, create straps to connect SHIN GUARDS to LEGS.

BANDANA:

With black, ch 45, finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap CHEST BELT and sew together.  Tack stitch to CHEST PLATE in a few places to keep in place.
