Using black and white craft felt, cut out EYES. Glue EYES together and onto CHARMANDER.

Rd 1: With pumpkin, ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 2 ch, 2 sc in next ch. (12)
Rds 2-11: sc in each sc around. (12)
STUFF ARMS FIRMLY.
Rd 12: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Embroider claws on the front of ARMS with white. Sew ARMS to BODY.
TAIL:
Rd 1: With pumpkin, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around. (4)
Rd 3: 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 5: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Rds 6-15: sc in each sc around. (12)

TAIL FLAME:
Run a double strand each of red, yellow, and orange through, but not all the way through, the TAIL point. Holding all four strands of each color, tie and overhand knot. Separate the plies of each strand.
