LUCARIO

This is a pattern for Lucario that I have been holding onto from about a year now.  I recently was asked by a Pokemon-obsessed Etsy customer to make Lucario in his Shiny form.  I guess it is time to post this pattern.  It includes the color lists for both Lucario and Shiny Lucario.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn (Shiny version color in parenthesis):  Delft blue (Grass), pale yellow (Light blue), black (grey heather), and grey heather.
E hook
Yarn needle
Fiberfill
White and red (blue) craft felt
Glue

BODY:
Rd 1: With pale yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)

Rd 4: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rds 5-6: sc in each sc around.  (18)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 42, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

NECK FUR:
Rd 1: Working in free loops of Rd 3, attach pale yellow with slip st, ch 4, slip st in same sc as attachment, (slip st in next sc, ch 4, slip st in same sc as last slip st) around.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

CHEST SPIKE:
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff lightly.  Sew CHEST SPIKE to center of chest of BODY.

HEAD:
Rd 1: With delft blue, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew ARM SPIKES to ARMS.

Rd 1: With grey heather, ch 7, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in next ch.  (16)
