TYRANITAR

This is the next in a very long list of requests from a Pokemon-obsessed Etsy customer that I have.  Tyranitar reminds me a lot of Godzilla.  Tyranitar uses the same body and legs of Rhydon and Nidoking.  This pattern includes the color lists for Tyranitar and Shiny Tyranitar.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors are in parenthesis):  Grass (Buff), black, burgundy, magenta, white, and gray (orchid).
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Glue

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With grass, ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 2 ch, 2 sc in next ch.  (12)
Rds 2-8: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 9: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (15)
Rd 10-17: sc in each sc around.  (15)  Place a stitch marker around sc #11.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff ARMS firmly.

FINGER NAILS (MAKE 6):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around.  (4)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Glue FINGER NAILS to ARMS.

UNDERARM FEATHERS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With grass, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch.  (3)
Rw 2: Ch 6, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, tr in next ch.  (5)
Rw 3: Ch 3, turn; tr in next st, dc in next 2 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next st.  (5)
Rw 4: turn, slip st in next 5 sts.
Rw 5: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch.  (3)

Rw 2: Ch 6, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in next 2 ch.  (5)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew SHOULDER SPIKES to BODY.  Weave in ends.

BACK SPIKES (MAKE 2):
