MAID LATIAS

This is another doll inspired by Pokemon. Latias and Latios are my friend’s favorite Pokemon. This is a doll that he created and asked me to bring to life in plush form. There are several Pokemon inspired dolls to come.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Red, white, black, gold, teal, and perfect pink.
D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

FINGERS (MAKE 6):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rds 2-3: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Stuff FINGERS firmly.

LOWER ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: Attach red in first sc of FINGER 1, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment., sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc on FINGER 2, sc in next 2 sc on FINGER 1. (8)
Rd 2: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (10)

LEFT LOWER ARM:
Rd 4: sc in next 4 sc, holding next sc on ARMS and first sc on FINGER together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 6 sc on ARM.
Rd 5: sc in next 4 sc, sc in next 2 sc on FINGER, sc in next 6 sc on ARM. (12)

With white, gold, and black, embroider EYES on MAID LATIAS. With white, embroider NOSE on MAID LATIAS. Using black and perfect pink, embroider MOUTH on MAID LATIAS. Using black, embroider EYEBROWS on MAID LATIAS.

HAIR:
Using picture as reference, fringe on pieces of red yarn on head of MAID LATIAS.

Rw 1: With red, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (3)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Using teal, embroider center on COLLAR. Wrap COLLAR around neck and sew together. Weave in ends.
