SPIDER

This is my take on a spider applique that I saw on Ravelry.com. I designed my version so that all of the pieces are connected as you make the spider.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: black
B crochet hook
Tapestry needle

SPIDER:
Rd 1: With black, ch 10, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 7 ch, (sc, slip st) in next ch.
Rd 2: slip st in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, tr in next sc, dtr in next sc, tr in next sc, dc in next sc, (sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, sc) in next sc, (sc, ch 6, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 4 ch, sc) in next sc, (sc, ch 6, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 4 ch, sc) in next sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, (slip st, ch 3, slip st in second ch from hook, dc) in next sc, (dc, ch 2, slip st in second ch from hook, ch 2, slip st) in next sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, (sc, ch 6, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 4 ch, sc) in next sc, (sc, ch 6, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 4 ch, sc) in next sc, (sc, ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 8 ch, sc) in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next sc, dtr in next sc, tr in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, slip st in next sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
