KERPYMON

This is another request from a customer of mine on Etsy. Kerpymon is the first of several Digimon that this customer plans to have me make. The hardest part of Kerpymon is his huge arms.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Amethyst, green, delft blue, yellow, black, and white.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
Floral wire

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With amethyst, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rds 4-12: sc in each sc around. (12)
NOW WORKING IN ROWS.
Rw 13: sc in next 6 sc. (6)
Rws 14-15: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 6 sc. (6)
Rw 16: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog. (4)
NOW WORKING IN ROUNDS AGAIN.

Rd 1: With delft blue, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew FOREHEAD SPIKES to HEAD. Weave in ends.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With amethyst, ch 7, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (6)
Rw 2: Ch 10, working over floral wire, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next sc, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in next 5 ch. (9)
Rw 3: Ch 7, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (6)
CONTINUE WEAVING FLORAL WIRE THROUGHOUT EARS.
Rw 4: Ch 1, working across the side of Rws 1-3, sc in evenly across. (7)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc. (6)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (6)
