ARMADA STARSCREAM

I have a customer that requested me make her a 3ft tall Armada Starscream. From the beginning, I have been wondering if I could make him be able to transform. I decided that the only way I would be able to answer that question is that I make a smaller version of Armada Strascream first. This is the pattern for the smaller version.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Red, black, yellow, light blue, and white.

HANDS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)

Rd 5: 3 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 6 sc. (12)

Using 22-count Aida cloth and Dark Blue Violet embroidery floss, create 2 DECEPTICON LOGOS. Sew DECEPTICON LOGO to WINGS.

WINGS FRONT EDGE:
Rw 1: Holding 2 WINGS together and working through both thicknesses, attach red in the side of Rw 28, ch 1, working in the side of Rws working toward tip of WING, sc in next 26 Rws, 3 sc in corner, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 5 ch, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, slip st in same ch as last sc before ch-3.
Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew top edge closed. Slip WINGS over wooden skewer and glue in place. Sew snap in place corresponding to the snap on the back of the ARMS.

CANNON MOUNT:
Rd 1: With red, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rds 3-12: sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 13: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (18)

BACK OF LEGS EDGING (COMPLETE ACROSS THE BACK EDGE OF LEG SIDES):
Rw 1: Attach white in the side of Rw 1 of LEG SIDES, ch 1, sc in next sc, hdc in next 2 sc, dc in next 16 sc, hdc in next 2 sc, sc in next sc, slip st in next sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

TAIL WING MOUNT SIDES (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With black, ch 11, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (10)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 8 sc. (9)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

TAIL WING MOUNT TOPS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With black, ch 7, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (6)

1: Fold HANDS into ARMS.

2: Fold COCKPIT NOSE and BODY up with HEAD between.

3: Rotate LEGS and fold up and attach BACK CLASP to LEGS.

4: Rotate WINGS.

5: Rotate ARMS and snap to WINGS.
