VALKYRIE RAICHU

This is the next in a long list of characters created by a customer of mine on Etsy.  Valkyrie is a character that looks like Raichu from Pokemon that is female and standing on two legs.

BELTS (MAKE 2):

Rw 1:     With café latte, ch 43, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (42)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using gray, embroider buckle on BELT.  Sew BELTS to JACKET.  Weave in ends.

SWORD HANDLE:

Rw 1:     With café latte, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (7)

Rws 2-3:               ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (7)

Rw 4:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next 7 sc, ch 10, slip st in first sc. 

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap HANDLE around wooden skewer and sew together.  Weave in ends.

HANDLE CAP:

Rw 1:     Working in the side of Rws of HANDLE, attach golden yellow, ch 1, sc in next 4 Rws.  (4)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew the side of HANDLE CAP together.  Weave tail through sc of Rw 1, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

BLADE (MAKE 2):

Rd 1:      With gray, ch 11, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 8 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 9 ch.  (21)

Rd 2:      Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc, dc, sc) in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc.  (25)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using golden yellow, embroider lightning bolt on BLADES.  Sew BLADES together.  Sew BLADES to HANDLE.  Weave in ends.

HILT (MAKE 2):

Rd 1:      With golden yellow, ch 8, 2 sc in second ch from hook, slip st in next ch, skip next ch, 3 sc in next ch, skip next ch, slip st in next ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, slip st in next ch, skip next ch, 3 sc in next ch, skip next ch, slip st in next ch, 2 sc in next ch, slip st in first sc. 

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew HILT together and to SWORD.  Weave in ends.  Using light blue, embroider jewel on HILTS.
