This is a pattern for Luna Lovegood’s first wand from the Harry Potter movies. Luna had this wand from at least the start of the 1995–1996 school year, her fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She often placed it behind her left ear for safekeeping. She used this wand during her practice sessions as part of Dumbledore's Army. This wand also helped to animate her lion hat when she supported the Gryffindor Quidditch team against the Slytherin Quidditch team during their match this year. She also used this wand during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.
The wand was confiscated when Luna was abducted by Death Eaters in 1997 in order to force her father to cooperate with the Voldemort-controlled British Ministry of Magic. Luna spent months in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor with fellow prisoner Garrick Ollivander, the famed wand-maker, to whom she was a great comfort.
After they were rescued by Dobby during the skirmish at Malfoy Manor, Ollivander constructed a new wand for Luna, with which she practiced while staying at Shell Cottage, which she wielded at the Battle of Hogwarts.
