RAINBOW OF PASTELS WAVES BLANKET

This is my version of a Waves Blanket that a friend saw on Pinterest. The colors were selected after a discussion with the lady that requested the blanket. This blanket can be any combination of colors. We selected a rainbow of pastel colors for this blanket.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: petunia, arctic ice, light green, pale yellow, light peach, and pale pink.
J crochet hook
Tapestry needle

BLANKET BODY:
Rw 1: With petunia, ch 238, 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across.
Rws 2-10: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to arctic ice after Rw 10.
Rws 11-20: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light green after Rw 20.
Rws 21-30: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale yellow after Rw 30.
Rws 31-40: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light peach after Rw 40.
Rws 41-50: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale pink after Rw 50.
Rws 51-60: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to petunia after Rw 60.
Rws 61-70: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to arctic ice after Rw 70.
Rws 71-80: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light green after Rw 80.
Rws 81-90: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale yellow after Rw 90.
Rws 91-100: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light peach after Rw 100.
Rws 101-110: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale pink after Rw 110.
Rws 111-120: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
