METANG

This is the next request from my Pokemon-obsessed Etsy customer.  Just like Metagross, I do not believe the blue is the right shade of blue, but it is the closest that I could find.  I have included with this pattern the color list for both Metang and Shiny Metang.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis):  Delft blue (Greybeard), gray (yellow), black, and red
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

FINGERS (MAKE 6):
Rd 1:      With gray, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2:      sc in each sc around.  (4)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Finish off. 

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With delft blue, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (holding next sc on ARMS and first sc on FINGERS and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 2 sc, holding same sc on ARMS as last sc and next sc on FINGERS together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next sc, sc in next sc on ARMS, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times. 
Rd 4:      (sc in next 2 sc on FINGERS, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc on ARMS, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times.  (24)
Rd 5:      working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rds 6-8:                sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 9:      working in back loops only, (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)
Rds 10-13:           sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 14:    (sc2tog) 3 times, sc in next 12 sc.  (15)
Rds 15-17:           sc in each sc around.  (15)
Rd 19:    Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 3 times, sc in next 3 sc.  (9)
Rd 20:    Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sc, ch 3, slip st in first sc (ARMHOLE MADE). 
Rd 21:    Ch 1, sc in next 9 sc, sc in next 3 ch.  (12)
BEGIN STUFFING ARM.  ADD STUFFING AS YOU CONTINUE.
Rd 22:    sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 4 sc.  (10)
Rd 23:    sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 24:    sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc.  (9)
Rd 25:    sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next sc.  (7)
Rd 26:    sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog, sc in next sc.  (6)
Rd 27:    sc in each sc around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 27, pull tight, and secure.  Weave in ends.

SHOULDER:
Rd 1:      Working around ARMHOLE, evenly complete 10 sc around ARMHOLE.  (10)
Rd 2:      [sc in next sc, (sc2tog) twice] around.  (6)
Rds 3-6:                sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 7:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc) around.  (10)
Rd 8:      sc in each sc around.  (10)
Finish off.  Repeat in the other ARMHOLE.  Stuff SHOULDER firmly.

BODY:
Rd 1:      With delft blue, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)

EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch, slip st in first sc.  (4)
Rd 2:      Ch 1, (sc, hdc) in next sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, (hdc, sc) in next sc, slip st in first sc.  98)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Embroider red ring around Rd 1.  Sew EYES to BODY adding stuffing before closing.

WINGS (MAKE 4):
Rw 1:     With gray, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook.  (1)
Rw 2:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc.  (2)
Rw 3:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (3)
Rw 4:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc.  (4)
Rw 5:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (5)
Rw 6:     Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew 2 WINGS to each side of BODY.  Weave in ends.

NOSE:
Rd 1:      With gray, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around.  (4)
Rd 2:      sc in each sc around.  (4)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 4:      sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 5:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rds 6-7:                sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff NOSE firmly.  Sew NOSE to BODY.  Weave in ends.
