BUZZ LIGHTYEAR
Buzz Lightyear has been on my “To Do” list ever since I did Sheriff Woody and Jessie a few years ago. Unfortunately, like most of my “To Do” list, it too a customer on Etsy asking me to make him to find sit down and come up with a pattern. There are others from the Toy Story franchise that are on my “To Do” list – Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Slinky Dog, and Hamm. Hopefully, it won’t take this long to get to them. This is the pattern I came up with for Buzz Lightyear.
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: White, purple, spring green, gray, black, blue, red, aqua, green, and yellow.
E Crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With purple, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, 2 sc in next ch. (6) Change to white.
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around. (8) Change to purple.
Rd 4: sc in each sc around. (8) Change to white.
Rd 5: 3 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 6 sc. (12)
LEFT ARM:
Rd 6: sc in next 2 sc, change to purple, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to spring green, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 4 sc. (12)
RIGHT ARM:
Rd 6: sc in next 2 sc, change to purple, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 6 sc, change to spring green, sc in next 2 sc. (12) Change to white.
BOTH ARMS:
Rd 7: (sc3tog) twice, sc in next 6 sc. (8)

Rds 10-12: sc in each sc around. (8) Change to gray after Rd 12.
Rds 13-18: sc in each sc around. (8) Change to white after Rd 18.
Rd 19: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (10)
BEGIN STUFFING THE ARMS FIRMLY. CONTINUE STUFFING AS YOU GO.
Rds 20-23: sc in each sc around. (10)
Finish off.
FOREARM GUARDS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With white, ch 14, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (13)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (13)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, change to spring green, sc in next 3 sc, change to white, sc in next 5 sc. (13)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to spring green, sc in next 7 sc, change to white, sc in next 3 sc. (13)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to spring green, sc in next 11 sc, change to white, sc in next sc. (13) Change to spring green.
Rws 7-8: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (13)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap around ARMS and sew together. Weave in ends. Using red, embroider laser light on right FOREARM GUARD.
LEFT SHOULDER:
Rw 1: Attach gray in sc #8 of LEFT ARM, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 7 sc, leaving remaining 2 sc unworked. (8)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (8)

Embroider EYES, EYEBROWS, and MOUTH on face of BUZZ LIGHTYEAR.
PANTS:

Finish off leaving a long tail.
