RED TIGER POWER RANGER

This is the item requested by my returning customer that usually orders Pokemon.  He has decided to have me work on a few self-designed adaptations of Pokemon and other popular characters.  This is an adaptation of a drawing of a Power Ranger that he dreamed up.  This pattern was easier than most patterns I have done for him because all I had to do was transform a male doll pattern that I have already done before. This is Red Tiger Power Ranger.  My Etsy customer is having me make him a series of Power Rangers probably in conjunction with the Power Ranger movie coming out on March 24th.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Cherry red, black, yellow, and white.
E Crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With cherry red, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rds 3-8: sc in each sc around.  (8)
Rd 9: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (10)
BEGIN STUFFING THE ARMS FIRMLY.  CONTINUE STUFFING AS YOU GO.
Rds 10-11: sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 12: Slip st in next sc changing to black, ch 1, turn, sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (10)
Rd 13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc changing to cherry red.  (10)
Rd 14: Ch 1, sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rds 15-16: sc in each sc around.  (10)  Place a marker around sc #2 on LEFT ARM and sc #1 on RIGHT ARM on Rd 16.
