LARGE EASTER BUNNY PEEP

I made a couple of small Easter Bunny Peeps to decorate my desk at work for Easter. My coworker asked if I could make a larger one for her daughter. Of course, I said yes. This is the pattern I designed for the larger version. This pattern can be made in any color. My coworker picked the color for the bunny peep.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: body color (BC) and black
F crochet hook
Tennis ball or Polyester Fiberfill
Tapestry needle

BUNNY EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With BC, 6 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc. (6)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (12)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (12)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (18)
Rd 5: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (24)
Rds 6-14: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (24)
Rd 15: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around, slip st in first sc. (20)
Rd 16: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (20)
Rd 17: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around, slip st in first sc. (16)
Rd 18: (Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (16)
Finish off in first BUNNY EAR. DO NOT FINISH OFF in second BUNNY EAR. Stuff BUNNY EARS firmly.

Rd 1: Continuing with second BUNNY EAR, ch 1, turn; sc in next 8 sc on second BUNY EAR, sc in each sc of first BUNNY EAR, sc in next 8 sc on second BUNNY EAR, slip st in first sc. (32)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (36)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (40)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (44)

STUFF BODY FIRMLY.
Rd 50: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 50, pull tightly and secure. Weave in ends. Using black, embroider 2 eyes and a nose on EASTER BUNNY PEEP.
