TMNT CHRISTMAS BALL ORNAMENTS

This is an adaptation of my Christmas Ball Ornaments pattern to make them look like the heads of TMNT Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Paddy green, white, black, red, orange, purple, and blue.
D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfill
Tapestry needle

BALL:
Rd 1: With paddy green, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc changing to bandana color. (42)
Rd 8: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (42)
Rd 9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (42)
Rd 10: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc changing to paddy green. (42)
Rd 11: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 8 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) twice, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 16 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) twice, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, slip st in first sc. (48)
Rds 12-14: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (48)
Rd 15: Ch 1, (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around. (40)
Rd 16: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (32)
Rd 17: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (24)
Rd 18: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (18)
Rd 19: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (12)
STUFF BALL FIRMLY.
Rd 20: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 20, pull tightly and secure.

HANGER:
Using paddy green, slip st in center of Rd 1 of BALL BODY, ch 20, slip st in center of Rd 1 again. Finish off. Weave in ends.

EYE RIDGES:
Rw 1: Working over sc of Rw 8, attach bandana color with slip st, sc over next 3 sc, slip st over next 2 sc, sc over next 3 sc, slip st in next sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

EYES AND MOUTH:
Using white and black, embroider EYES on BALL. Using black, embroider MOUTH on BALL.

BANDANA TIE ENDS:
Rw 1: With bandana color, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (3)
Rw 3: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, 2 hdc in next ch, skip next sc, slip st in next sc, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc2tog, slip st in next sc.
Finish off. Sew BANDANA TIE ENDS to BALL. Weave in ends.

BANDANA TIE WRAP:
Rw 1: With bandana color, ch 11, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (10)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap around BANDANA TIES ENDS and sew together. Tack stitch to BANDANA TIE ENDS. Weave in ends.

COMPLETELY RIBBED BEANIE

This was a request from a coworker. The colors were chosen by my coworker. Coworker chose to not have a pom-pom sewn to the top of the hat.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight yarn: Any color or color combination.
J crochet hook
Tapestry needle

HAT:
Rw 1: With any color, ch 47, dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 39 ch, sc in next 5 ch. (45)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; working in back loops only, sc in next 5 sc, dc in next 40 dc. (45)
Rw 3: Ch 2, turn; working in back loops only, dc in next 40 dc, sc in next 5 sc. (45)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; working in back loops only, sc in next 5 sc, dc in next 40 dc. (45)
Rws 5-8: Ch 2, turn; working in back loops only, dc in each st across. (45)
Rw 9: Ch 2, turn; working in back loops only, dc in next 40 sts, sc in next 5 sts. (45)

DRAGON SCARF

Dragon scarf was a request by my daughter after seeing one on Instagram. This pattern is made using Super Bulky yarn. I hate working with this type of yarn, but it is what my daughter asked. This dragon scarf can be made with any combinations of colors. She wanted shades of purple.

MATERIALS:
Super Bulky yarn: light color and dark color.
J crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
25 mm safety eyes

HEAD:
Rd 1: With lavender, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3-7: sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 8: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 6 sc, sc in next 5 sc. (22)
Rd 9: sc in next 5 sc, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times, sc in next 5 sc. (25)
Rd 10: sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) 3 times, sc in next 5 sc. (28)
Rd 11: sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc. (30)
Rds 12-16: sc in each sc around. (30)
INSERT SAFETY EYES
Rd 17: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (24)
Rd 18: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (18)

STUFF HEAD FIRMLY.
Rd 20: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 20, pull tightly, and secure. Weave in ends.

NOSTRILS:
Rw 1: Working over Rd 3, attach lavender, 3 sc over next sc, slip st over next 2 sc, 3 sc over next sc, slip st over next sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

EYEBROWS:
Working over Rws above each EYE, attach violet, sc in next 3 Rws, slip st in next Rw.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

HORNS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With violet, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around. (4)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around. (6)
Rd 5: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rds 6-7: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff HORNS firmly. Sew HORNS to HEAD.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With lavender, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc. (4)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (6)
Rws 5-6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Fold Rw 6 in half and sew EARS to HEAD. Weave in ends.

MOUTH:
Using violet, embroider MOUTH on HEAD.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With lavender, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: sc in next 6 sc, change to violet, 3 dc popcorn st in next sc, change to lavender, sc in next sc, change to violet, 3 dc popcorn st in next sc, change to lavender, sc in next sc, change to violet, 3 dc popcorn st in next sc, change to lavender, sc in next 5 sc. (16)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 5: sc in next 5 sc, (sc2tog) 3 times, sc in next 5 sc. (13)
Rd 6: sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) 3 times, sc in next 3 sc. (10)
Rds 7-12: sc in each sc around. (10)
Finish off in first LEG. DO NOT FINISH OFF in second LEG. Stuff LEGS firmly.

SCARF BODY:
Rw 1: slip st in next sc, flatten Rd 12 of second LEG, ch 1, working through both thicknesses, sc in next 5 sc, evenly sc 8 times across back of HEAD, flatten Rd 12 of first LEG and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 5 sc. (18)
Rws 2-9: Ch 2, turn; dc in each st across. (18)
Rw 10: Ch 1, sc in each st across. (18) Change to violet.
Rws 11-20: Ch 2, turn; dc in each st across. (18) Change to lavender after Rw 20.
Rws 21-30: Ch 2, turn; dc in each st across. (18) Change to violet after Rw 30.
