LOKO-ZOKO

This is a character that a customer designed. He likes to make up his own characters for popular video games. Loko-Zoko is a character from the Tooniverse. He is a character that came to life when being drawn in a magic book. He has got a similar book that can bring to life things he draws. The leaf in his headband doubles as a magic ink brush.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Buff, burnt pumpkin, café latte, gold, taupe, teal, off white, green, pumpkin, black, white, baby pink, rose, light green, hunter green, and spring green.
D crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry and sewing needles
Sewing thread
Hair tie
Green chenille stem
Floral wire

THUMBS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)

Attach off white at back of LEG just above BOOT CUFF, ch 80, wrap around LEG, slip st to secure. Finish off. Weave in ends.

RIGHT LEG WRAPPINGS:
Attach off white at the back of LEG just above BOOT CUFF, ch 40, wrap around, LEG, slip st to secure. Finish off. Weave in ends.

LEFT ARM WRAPPINGS:
Attach off white at the back of ARM, ch 50, wrap around ARM, slip st to secure. Finish off. Weave in ends.

RIGHT ARM WRAPPINGS:
Attach off white at the back of ARM, ch 70, wrap around ARM, slip st to secure. Finish off. Weave in ends.

BELT:

Fringe on long pieces of pumpkin around the head. Using ponytail holder to create ponytail. Trim to desired length. Fringe on small pieces of pumpkin along the back of head, in front of each EAR, and to forehead.

HAIR BAND:
Rw 1: With café latte, ch 15, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (14)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (14)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap HAIR BAND around ponytail holder and sew together. Weave in ends.

FEATHER:
Rw 1: With green, ch 18, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 3 ch, sc in next 12 ch, (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch and over chenille stem, sc in next 11 ch, slip st in next ch.
Finish off. Using spring green, embroider the spine on FEATHER. Weave in ends.

BOOK PAGES (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With off white, ch 6, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (5)
Rws 2-6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (5)
Finish off. Sew BOOK PAGES together. Weave in ends.

BOOKMARK:
Attach light green to spine, ch 10. Finish off.

BOOK COVER:

BOOK COVER CORNERS (COMPLETE OVER EACH CORNER OF BOOK COVER):
BOOK COVER CORNERS are done similar to COLLAR CORNERS of JACKET. Sew BOOK COVER to PAGES. Weave in ends.

BELT BOOK STRAP:
Rw 1: With café latte, ch 25, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (24)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (24)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew snap on BELT BOOK STRAP. Wrap BELT BOOK STRAP around BELT and BOOK and snap closed.
