MACARONI MAN

This is another character that my daughter asked me to make based on something that she saw at our local Walmart.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Yellow and black
D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
10mm Safety eyes

BODY (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: Working in front loops only, sc in each sc around. (24)
Rds 6-8: sc in each sc around. (24)
Rds 9-10: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around. (24)
Rds 11-13: sc in each sc around. (24)
Rd 14: Holding next sc of Rd 13 and back loops of Rd 4 together and working through both thicknesses, sc in each sc around. (24)
Rds 15-17: sc in each sc around. (24)
Rds 18-27: sc in next 6 sc, hdc in next 12 sc, sc in next 6 sc. (24)
Rds 28-32: sc in each sc around. (24)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Insert safety eyes 4 Rds from edge making sure that they line up. Stuff BODY firmly. Sew BODY together. Using black, embroider the mouth on BODY. Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rds 5-6: sc in each sc around. (24)
Rd 7: sc in next 6 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 6 sc. (18)
Rd 8: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 3 sc. (12)
Rd 9: sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 4 sc. (10)
Rds 10-12: sc in each sc around. (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff LEGS firmly. Sew LEGS to BODY. Weave in ends.
