BAGEL PIZZA MAN

This is another character that my daughter asked me to make based on something that she saw at our local Walmart.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Buff, white, black, and red.
B (Pepperoni only) and D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
8mm safety eyes

BAGEL BODY BACK:
Rd 1: With buff, ch 30, slip st in first ch to form a ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around. (30)
Rds 2-3: sc in each sc around. (30)
Rd 4: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Rd 5: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (42)
Rd 6: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)
Rd 7: (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (54)
Rds 8-10: sc in each sc around. (54)
Finish off leaving a long tail.

BAGEL BODY FRONT:
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 6: holding next sc on BAGEL BODY FRONT and first ch of foundation ch of BAGEL BODY BACK together and working through both thicknesses, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (42)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)
Rd 9: (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (54)
Finish off. Sew BAGEL BODY FRONT and BAGEL BODY BACK together stuffing before closing. Weave in ends.

CHEESE FACE:
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (42)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)
Rd 9: (slip st in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) around.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Insert safety eyes. Sew CHEESE FACE to BAGEL BODY. Using black, embroider the mouth on CHEESE FACE. Weave in ends.

PEPPERONI (MAKE 6):
Rd 1: With red and using B hook, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew PEPPERONI to CHEESE FACE. Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rds 5-6: sc in each sc around. (24)
Rd 7: sc in next 6 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 6 sc. (18)
Rd 8: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 3 sc. (12)
Rd 9: sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 4 sc. (10)
Rds 10-12: sc in each sc around. (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff LEGS firmly. Sew LEGS to BODY. Weave in ends.
