CANCER AWARENESS TEDDY BEAR

This is my adaptation of my Care Bear pattern for a Teddy Bear used to bring awareness to cancer. This Teddy Bear can be made in any combination of colors. The colors of the one in the picture was chosen by a friend of mine. The Contrasting color is usually a darker shade of the Body color.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn – Body Color – BC, white and black
Crochet cotton – Contrasting color (CC)
D and 6 crochet hooks
Polyester Fiberfill
1 set of 12mm safety eyes (usually in same color as contrasting color)
Tapestry needle
Sewing needle

MUZZLE:
Rd 1: With White, 9 sc in magic ring. (9)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (15)
