SQUID HAT

I recently saw a lady sitting on the bus wearing a lime green squid hat. As soon as I told my wife about it, she wanted me to make her a purple one. She chose jasmine as the yarn color for it to be made in. It can be made in any color. The bow in the picture was a personal request from my wife. I have included with the pattern. The inspiration of this hat did not have a bow.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: main color, bow color, white, and black
H crochet hook
Tapestry needle

HAT:
Rd 1: With main color, 12 dc in magic ring, join to first dc. (12)
Rd 2: Ch 2, (dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around, join. (18)
