LEAVANNY


This will be another evolutionary chain in the game of Pokemon where I have been asked to make the Basic form and the Stage 2 form leaving the Stage 1 form unmade.  Hopefully, I will make Swadloon at some point down the road.  The pattern includes the color lists for both Leavanny and Shiny Leavanny.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis):  Spring green, green (leaf green), yellow (golden yellow), red (magenta), white, and black.
E crochet hook
Fiberfil
Yarn Needle
Floral wire

LOWER BODY:
Rd 1:      With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4:      (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (21)
Rd 5:      (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rds 6-12:              sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 13:    (sc in next 10 sc, sc2tog) around.  (22)
Rd 14:    (sc in next 9 sc, sc2tog) around.  (20)

UPPER BODY:

Rd 3:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rd 4:      (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (10)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew UPPER BODY to LOWER BODY.  Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With yellow, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rds 2-3:                sc in each sc around.  (4)
Rd 4:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rds 5-10:              sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 11:    (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)  Change to green.
Rd 12:    Working in front loops only, sc in each sc around.  (8)
Rd 13:    sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Fold Rds 12-13 over Rds 10-11.
BEGIN STUFFING LEGS FIRMLY.  CONTINUE STUFFING LEGS FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rd 14:    Working through sc of Rd 12 and in both loops of Rd 11, attach green, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 7 sc.  (8)
Rd 15:    (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (10)
Rds 16-17:           sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 18:    Working in front loops only, sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 19:    sc in each sc around.  (10)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Fold Rds 18-19 over Rds 16-17.
Rd 21:    Working through sc of Rd 18 and in both loops of Rd 17, attach green, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 9 sc.  (10)
Rd 22:    (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (12)
Rd 23:    sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 24:    (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (14)

Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Fold Rds 25-26 over Rds 23-24.
Rd 27:    Working through sc of Rd 25 and in both loops of Rd 24, attach green, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 13 sc.  (14)

Rw 1:     Working over folded edge of LOWER ARM LEAVES and floral wire, attach spring green, ch 1, 2 sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 19 Rws, change to yellow, working over folded edge of UPPER ARM LEAVES, sc in next Rw, extended sc in next 12 Rws, sc in next Rw.
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew ARMS to BODY.  Weave in ends.

HEAD:
Rd 1:      With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5:      (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rds 6-10:              sc in each sc around.  (30)
Rd 11:    (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around.  (24)
Rd 12:    (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)

STUFF HEAD FIRMLY.
Rd 14:    sc2tog around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 14, pull tightly and secure.  Sew HEAD to BODY.  Weave in ends.  OPTIONAL:  INSERT FLORAL WIRE OR WOODEN SKEWER THROUGH HEAD AND BODY TO GIVE NECK MORE STABILITY.

EYES AND MOUTH:
Embroider EYES and MOUTH on HEAD.

ANTENNA POSTS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1:     With yellow, ch 11, working over floral wire, sc in second ch from hook and in each sc across.  (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew ANTENNA POSTS to BODY.  Weave in ends.

ANTENNA POINTS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Fold ANTENNA POINTS in half and sew together.  Sew ANTENNA POINTS to ANTENNA POSTS.  Sew assembled ANTENNA to HEAD.  Weave in ends.

HEAD LEAVES (MAKE 2):
Rw 1:     With spring green, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook.  (2)
Rw 2:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (3)
Rw 3:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc.  (4)
Rw 4:     Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rw 5:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc.  (5)
Rw 6:     Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)

Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Sew HEAD LEAVES to HEAD.  Weave in ends.
