OBELISK THE TORMENTOR


This is next request from a customer of mine on Etsy that is obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh shows and card game.  I admit that Obelisk the Tormentor was one of the most difficult Yu-Gi-Oh characters that I have made that was not some form of dragon.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Delft blue, blue, white and black.
E Crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Floral wire

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With delft blue, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, 2 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 3 ch.  (8)

Using red, embroider EYES on OBELISK THE TORMENTOR.  Using delft blue, embroider EYEBROWS on OBELISK THE TORMENTOR.

FOREHEAD JEWEL:
Rd 1:      With blue, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew FOREHEAD JEWEL to head of BODY.  Weave in ends.

LARGE HEAD SPIKES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With delft blue, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rds 2-3:                sc in each sc around.  (4)
Rd 4:      sc in next sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next sc.  (6)
Rds 5-6:                sc in each sc around.  (6)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew SMALL HEAD SPIKES to head of OBELISK THE TORMENTOR next to LARGE HEAD SPIKES.  Weave in ends.

HEADDRESS SIDE PODS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      With delft blue, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (12)
NOW WORKING IN ROWS.
Rw 4:     Flatten and working through both thicknesses of Rd 3, ch 1, sc in next 4 sc. 
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew HEADDRESS SIDE PODS to head of OBELISK THE TORMENTOR.  Weave in ends.

PANTS:
Rd 1:      With delft blue, ch 33, sc in second ch from hook and in each sc across.  (32) 
Rd 2:      Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (32)
Finish off leaving a long tail.
