Drifloon is another Pokemon that was not anywhere on my radar to
make. It is only because of a request
from a customer that I am making Drifloon.
This pattern includes the color
list for both Drifloon and Shiny Drifloon.
MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis): Purple (yellow), gold (aqua), black and
white.E Crochet Hook
Fiberfil
Yarn Needle
BODY:
Rd 1: With purple, 8 sc in magic
ring. (8)Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (32)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (40)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (56)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (64)
Rds 9-16: sc in each sc around. (64)
Rd 17: (sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog) around. (56)
Rd 18: (sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog) around. (48)
Rd 19: (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around. (40)
Rd 20: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (32)
Rd 21: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (24)
Rd 22: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (16)
STUFF BODY FIRMLY.
Rd 23: sc2tog around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 23, pull tightly and secure. Weave in ends.
BODY TAIL:
Rd 1: Working over Rd 22,
attach purple, ch 1, sc in each sc around.
(16)Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 3: slip st in next sc, (ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, skip next 2 sc, slip st in next sc) 8 times.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
NOSE (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gold, ch 11, sc in
second ch from hook and in each ch across.
(10) Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew NOSE pieces together in a cross pattern. Sew NOSE to BODY. Weave in ends.
EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 3, 2 sc
in next sc, 3 sc in next sc working around ch, working in free loops of
foundation, sc in next sc. (6)Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYES to BODY. Weave in ends.
SMALL HAIR PIIECES (MAKE 5):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc
in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (16)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (20)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew each SMALL HAIR PIECES together forming a ring. Weave in ends.
LARGE HAIR PIECES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, 5 sc in
magic ring. (5)Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (10)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (15)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (20)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (25)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LARGE HAIR PIECES to cap off the ring of SMALL HAIR PIECES stuffing lightly before closing. Sew HAIR to BODY. Weave in ends.
HAIR TAIL:
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc
in second ch from hook working around ch.
(4)Rd 2: sc in each sc around. (4)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rd 5: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew HAIR TAIL to back of HAIR.
FEET BUMPS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With gold, ch 2, 4 sc
in second ch from hook working around ch.
(4)Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off on first FEET BUMP for each FEET. DO NOT FINISH OFF in second FEET BUMP for each FEET.
FEET (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: sc in next 4 sc on second
FEET BUMP, sc in next 8 sc on first FEET BUMP, sc in next 4 sc on second FEET
BUMP. (16)Rd 2: (sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog) around. (14)
Rd 3: (sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog) around. (12)
Rd 4: (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around. (10)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (8)
STUFF FEET FIRMLY.
Rd 6: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 6, pull tightly and secure. Weave in ends.
LEGS (MAKE 2):
Attach black to Rd 6 of FEET, ch 40, slip st in Rd 3 of BODY. Finish off.
Weave in ends.
