BLISSEY

This is the Pokemon on the VERY LONG “To Do” list that my daughter gave me at Christmas time.  Blissey is a huge fan favorite from the time that Pokemon was released.  This pattern includes the color list for both Blissey and Shiny Blissey.

MATERIALS:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny color substitute in parenthesis):  Perfect pink (pale pink), rose, white, and black.
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle

ARMS (MAKE 2):

Rd 1:      With perfect pink, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2:      sc in each sc around. (4)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 4:      sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 5:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rds 6-8:                sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff ARMS firmly.

LARGE SKIRT PIECES (MAKE 6):

Rd 1:      With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 3:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rds 4-9:                sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

SMALL SKIRT PIECES (MAKE 2):

Rd 1:      With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)

Rw 2:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (6)
Rw 3:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (8)
Rw 4:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (10)
Rw 5:     Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (12)
Rw 6:     Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EGG POCKET to BODY covering lower part of EGG.  Weave in ends.

Finish off in first 2 ARM WING POINTS for each ARM WINGS.  DO NOT FINISH in the third ARM WING POINT for each ARM WING.

Rd 1:      sc in next 2 sc in third ARM WING POINT, sc in next 2 sc on first ARM WING POINT, sc in next 4 sc on second ARM WING POINT, sc in next 2 sc on first ARM WING POINT, sc in next 2 sc on third ARM WING POINT.  (12)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Curl CURLS and sew together.  Sew 1 CURL on each side of each EARS.  Weave in ends.

EYES AND MOUTH:

Embroider EYES and MOUTH on BLISSEY.
