This is another doll based on a drawing sent to me by a customer of
mine on Etsy. This customer is obsessed
with Pokemon. He said that this
character was based on him as a Samurai character.

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew center of BELT TAIL to BELT. Weave in ends.
JACKET BELT EDGING:
Rw 1: Attach yellow in first sc
of BELT, surface ch in each sc across.Finish off leaving a long tail. Repeat in the foundation ch of BELT.
WOLF HEAD BELT BUCKLE:
Rw 1: With black, ch 4, sc in
second ch from hook and in each ch across.
(3)Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (3)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Using yellow, whipstitch around outside edge of WOLF HEAD BELT BUCKLE. Using yellow, embroider markings on WOLF HEAD BELT BUCKLE. Sew WOLF HEAD BELT BUCKLE to BELT. Weave in ends.
HIP PLATES (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With black, ch 7, sc in
second ch from hook and in each ch across.
(6)Rws 2-8: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (6) Change to yellow.
Rd 9: Ch 1, sc in evenly around outside edge of HIP PLATES
Finish off. Weave in ends. Using white, whipstitch over outside edge from side of Rw 11 around the top of JACKET BELT POUCH and back down to Rw 11. Fold JACKET BELT POUCH and sew together. Sew JACKET BELT POUCH to JACKET BELT. Weave in ends.
SWORD SCABBARD:
Rw 1: With black, ch 20, sc in
second ch from hook and in each ch across.
(19)Rws 2-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (19)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew Rw 1 and Rw 5 together. Using yellow, embroider ∞ on SWORD SCABBARD. Wrap red around SWORD SCABBARD and tie together with a bow. Sew SWORD SCABBARD to JACKET BELT.
SWORD BLADE:
Cut wooden skewer 6-inches from tip.
Paint skewer silver.
SWORD HANDLE (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With coffee, ch 8, sc in
second ch from hook and in each ch across.
(7)Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, ch 10, slip st in first sc of Rw 4.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap around SWORD BLADE, glue in place, and sew SWORD HANDLE closed.
SWORD HILT CAP:
Rw 1: Working in the side of
Rws, attach yellow, ch 1, sc in next 4 Rws.
(4)Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SWORD HILT CAP together. Weave in ends.
