SHADE THE ECHIDNA

Shade the Echidna is a character from Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. As the lead member of the Marauder forces, she takes her job very seriously and serves to please her lord. She has lived with others of her lost clan within the Twilight Cage for over 4,000 years (from the perspective of Sonic's world).

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Pumpkin, white, black, buff, rose, and gray.
B crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

THUMBS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rds 2-3: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

FINGERS (MAKE 8):
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rds 2-4: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off in first 3 FINGERS for each hand. DO NOT FINISH OFF in the fourth FINGER for each hand.

HANDS AND ARMS (MAKE 2):

Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew BOOT FRONT PLATES’ ACCENT PIECES to BOOT FRONT PLATES. Weave in ends.

PUPILS, EYE EDGE, AND EYELASHES:
Using rose and black, embroider PUPILS on eyes of SHADE THE ECHIDNA. Using black, embroider line around outside of edge of eyes. Fringe on a piece of black as EYELASHES. Trim to desired length.

MUZZLE:
