DYNAMAX BAND

In Pokemon Sword and Shield, The Dynamax band is a Key Item introduced. It was invented by Oleana and allows a Trainer’s Pokemon to Dynamax in Power Spots and perform Max Moves. This is the pattern I came up with for the Dynamax Band.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: White, blue, shocking pink, and black.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
Elastic cord

CENTER PLATE BOTTOM:
Rw 1: With teal, ch 13, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (12) Change to white.
Rws 2-16: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (12) Change to shocking pink after Rw 16.
Rw 17: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in each sc across. (12)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

CENTER PLATE TOP:
Rw 1: With black, ch 13, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (12)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to white, sc in next 6 sc, change to black, sc in next 3 sc. (12)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next 6 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next sc. (12) Change to white.
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to black, sc in next 10 sc, change to white, sc in next sc. (12) Change to black.
Rws 5-6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (12)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, change to white, sc in next 3 sc, change to black, sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, change to black, sc in next 2 sc. (12)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next 4 sc. (12)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (12)
Rw 10: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next 3 sc. (12)
Rw 11: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next sc, change to black, sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 3 sc, change to black, sc in next 5 sc. (12)
Rws 12-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (12) Change to white after Rw 13.
Rw 14: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to black, sc in next 10 sc, change to white, sc in next sc. (12) Change to black.
Rw 15: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next 6 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc, change to black, sc in next sc. (12)
Rw 16: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to white, sc in next 6 sc, change to black, sc in next 3 sc. (12)
Rw 17: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (12)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

WRIST BOTTOM BAND (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: Attach shocking pink in the side of Rw 17, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, change to white, sc in next 15 Rws, change to teal, sc in next Rw. (17)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to teal, sc in next sc. (17)
Rws 4-15: Repeat Rws 2 and 3 6 more times. (17)
DO NOT FINISH.

WRIST TOP BAND PART 1 (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to teal, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to teal, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 15 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (17)
RIGHT SIDE:
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog. (7)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; slip st in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, sc2tog. (3)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (2)
Rw 10: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog. (1)
Finish off leaving a long tail.
LEFT SIDE:
Rw 6: With right side facing, attach teal in first sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, change to white, sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog. (7)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; slip st in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, change to teal, sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, sc2tog. (3)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, change to teal, sc in next sc. (2)
Rw 10: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog. (1)
Finish off leaving a long tail.

WRIST TOP BAND PART 2 (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: Attach shocking pink in the side of Rw 17 of TOP CENTER PLATE, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, change to white, sc in next 15 Rws, change to teal, sc in next sc. (17)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, dc in next 3 sc, tr in next 2 sc, dc in next 2 sc, sc in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, tr in next 2 sc, dc in next 3 sc, change to shocking pink, sc in next sc. (17)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew WRIST TOP BAND PART 2 to WRIST BAND BOTTOM.  Weave in ends.

WRIST BAND ASSEMBLY:
Weave elastic cord through both sides of WRIST BAND and secure. Using graph below, sew WRIST TOP PIECES to WRIST BOTTOM BAND leaving indicated space between each of the pieces. Weave in ends.
