OWL HOUSE BACKPACK

This is a backpack based on one from Disney’s Owl House television series. This was a request from a very good friend that is obsessed with Owl House. I have made her a couple of dolls of the characters from the television series. She is wanting this for a convention that she is going to. This backpack was made with a double strand of yarn throughout. I know that then pattern calls for sewing thread, but I used something that I have found to be much stronger than simple sewing thread – dental floss. That is what used to sew the straps in place.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: White, heather, curry, red, leaf green, and black.
I crochet hook
Tapestry needle
2 1” Belting/Strapping (each cut in half)
2 1” Strap Adjusters
2 white buttons
1 yellow button
Elastic cord
Sewing thread
Sewing needle
2 pieces of floral wire folded in half

BOTTOM:
Rw 1: With off white, ch 37, sc in second ch from hook and each ch across. (36)
Rws 2-15: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (36)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

SIDES (MAKE 2):
