MILOTIC

This continues the never-ending series of Pokemon characters that a customer on Etsy has requested. Milotic has been on my customer’s “To Do” list for some time, but I have been putting it off because of other projects. The hardest part of Milotic is the pattern on the tail. This pattern includes the color lists for both Milotic and Shiny Milotic.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny color substitute in parenthesis): Off white, perfect pink (light blue--EYEBROWS ONLY), aqua (yellow), shocking pink (delft blue), charcoal, black and white.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn needle
Chenille stem

BODY:

USE GRAPH FOR COLOR CHANGES
Rd 1: With aqua, 6 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc. (6)

Using shocking pink, black and white, embroider EYES on HEAD.

Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (6)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYEBROWS on HEAD. Weave in ends.

HORN:
Rd 1: With off white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew ANTENNA between EYES and EYEBROWS on HEAD. Weave in ends.

TAIL FEATHERS (MAKE 4):

Rd 1: With perfect pink, ch 8, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 6 ch, slip st in first sc changing to aqua. (16)
