MARTH DRAGON

This is another dragon created by the brilliant mind of Hannah Loveday (@kloversight). Marth is feared by most dragons. She lives along with Kurbis. She is referred to as “the night” by all that fear her. She used to a skilled mercenary and thus she built up a reputation as someone not to mess with.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Coffee, burgundy, taupe, white, black, gray, and blue.
C crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Floral wire

BODY:
Rd 1: With coffee, 9 sc in magic ring. (9)

Using blue, white, and black, embroider EYES on HEAD. Using black, embroider MOUTH on HEAD. Using taupe, embroider NOSTRILS and EYEBROWS on HEAD.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With gray, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EARS to HEAD. Weave in ends.

SIDEBURNS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With taupe, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch. (2)
Rws 2-4: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, working across straight edge of Rws 1-4, sc evenly across. (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SIDEBURNS to HEAD. Weave in ends.

TAIL POINT (MAKE 2:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc across. (4)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (6)

Rw 2: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in last sc of Rw 1 working over ch, sc in same Rd as slip st, sc in next 2 Rds, slip st in next Rd.
Rw 3: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in last sc of Rw 2 working over ch, hdc in same Rd as slip st, hdc in next Rd, sc in next Rd, slip st in next Rd.
