BUZZ LIGHTYEAR BATHROBE

This is a pattern for a bathrobe that will fit my male doll pattern. This bathrobe is styled after Buzz Lightyear from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story movies. My daughter has also requested a bathrobe styled after Sheriff Woody.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: White, spring green, yellow, grape, aqua, green, and red.
D crochet hook
Tapestry needle

BATHROBE TOP:

Rw 1: With white, ch 41, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (40)
Rws 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 28 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 4 sc. (40)
Rws 5-7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 30 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 3 sc. (40)
Rws 8-10: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 32 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 2 sc. (40)
Rws 11-14: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 34 sc, change to grape, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next sc. (40) Change to spring green after Rw 14.
Rws 15-16: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (40)
RIGHT FRONT:
Rw 17: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 6 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked. (6)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
BACK:
Rw 17: Skip next 6 sc, attach spring green in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 15 sc. (16)
Rw 18: Ch 1, turn; sc in each across. (16)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
LEFT FRONT AND TOP:
Rw 17: Skip next 6 sc, attach spring green in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 5 sc. (6)
Rw 18: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 6 sc, ch 8, skip next ARMHOLE SPACE, working in sc of BACK, sc in next 16 sc, ch 8, skip next ARMHOLE SPACE, working in sc of RIGHT FRONT, sc in next 6 sc.
Rw 19: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 8 ch, sc in next 16 sc, sc in next 8 ch, change to yellow, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, change to spring green, sc in next sc. (42)

Rd 1: Attach grape in the side of Rws of JACKET BOTTOM, ch 1, sc in evenly around outside edge of JACKET with 3 sc in each corner, slip st in first sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

BATHROBE TIE:
Rw 1: With grape, ch 71, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (70)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew BATHROBE TIE to Rw 1 of BATHROBE TOP. Weave in ends.
