TOGEKISS

 

Togekiss is another Pokemon from my daughter’s continuously growing “To Do” list of Pokemon that she started when Pokemon Go came out. Togekiss continues a trend that I seem to be able to get away from. The trend is that I make the basic form, in this case Togepi, and the Stage 2 form, Togekiss, and have yet to make the Stage 1 form, Togetic. This pattern includes the color lists for both Togekiss and Shiny Togekiss.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny alternative in parenthesis): White, delft blue (red), red (delft blue), and black.
B Crochet Hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

BODY:
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)

Rds 5-6: sc in each sc around. (24)

BEGIN STUFFING WING CURL FIRMLY. CONTINUE STUFFING WING CURL FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 3-30: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Curl closed end of WING CURL and sew to secure. Sew WING CURL to BODY and WING. Weave in ends.

EYES AND MOUTH:
Using black, embroider EYES and MOUTH on BODY.

BODY TRIANGLES:

Using red and delft blue and picture above as reference, embroider BODY TRIANGLES on BODY. Weave in ends.
