Small piece of craft foam cut in the shape of the shield

Rd 1: With peach, ch 4, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, (2 sc, change to white, sc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loop of foundation ch, change to black, sc in next ch, change to white, sc in next ch, slip st in first sc. (8)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; (sc, change to black, sc) in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, change to black, (sc, change to white, sc) in next sc, change to peach, sc in next 5 sc, slip st in first sc. (10)

HELMET:
Rd 1: With grey heather, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (16)
Rds 4-7: sc in each sc around. (16)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew HELMET to HEAD stuffing before closing. Using grey heather,
embroider spikes on HELMET with French knots.
SHIELD:
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch, slip st in first sc changing to orange. (4)
Rd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (8)

Cut a slit in center of craft. Push SHIELD STRAP through slit. Glue craft foam in place. Place SHIELD on RIGHT ARM and glue in place.
SPEAR:
Cut wooden skewer to 6 ½ inches. Paint 1 ½ inches of tip with silver paint marker. Run SPEAR through LEFT ARM and glue in place.
