Minior Cores

This is a pattern for the Minior Cores. This pattern includes the color lists for each version of the Cores, including the Shiny version. Unlike most Pokemon, there is only a Shiny version of the Core. There is not Shiny version of the Meteor version of Minior. White is only color that is used with each version of the Cores. The Shiny Core has 2 TRIANGLES of both yellow and spring green.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: White
Blue: Aqua (Body Color--BC), teal (Spot color—SC), ice blue (Light Color--LC), and Aruba sea (MC)
Green: Spring green (BC), light green (LC), mint (MC), and leaf green (SC)
Indigo: Blue (BC), light blue (LC), delft blue (MC), and royal (SC)
Orange: Bright orange (BC), burnt pumpkin (SC), peach (LC), and pumpkin (MC)
Red: Magenta (BC), red (SC), baby pink (MC), and pale pink (LC)
Shiny: Black (BC), grey heather (MC), gray (LC), [SC--red, aqua, orange, yellow x2, blue, spring green x2, lavender]
Violet: Medium purple (BC), lavender (SC), orchid (MC), and lilac (LC)
Yellow: Yellow (BC), lemon (MC), pale yellow (LC), and gold (SC).

BODY:
Rd 1: With BC, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (42)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)
Rd 9: (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (54)
Rds 10-19: sc in each sc around. (54)
Rd 20: (sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog) around. (48)
Rd 21: (sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog) around. (42)
Rd 22: (sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog) around. (36)
Rd 23: (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around. (30)
Rd 24: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (24)
Rd 25: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (18)
Rd 26: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around. (12)
STUFF BODY FIRMLY.
Rd 27: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 27, pull tightly and secure. Weave in ends.

SIDE POINTS (MAKE 5):
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (9)
Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Rd 4: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (15)
Rd 5: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18) Change to MC.
Rd 6: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (21) Change to BC.
Rd 7: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff SIDE POINTS firmly. Sew SIDE POINTS to BODY. Weave in ends.

EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12) Change to LC.
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: Ch 10, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next sc, 2 hdc in next ch, (hdc in next 2 ch, 2 hdc in next sc) twice, hdc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, slip st in next sc
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYES to BODY. Weave in ends.

MOUTH:
Rw 1: With LC, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, 2 sc in next 2 ch, sc in next sc.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew MOUTH to BODY. Weave in ends.


TRIANGLES (MAKE 9):
Rw 1: With SC, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc. (3)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew 5 TRIANGLES to front of BODY and 4 TRIANGLES to back of BODY. Weave in ends.
