DELCATTY

This is another Pokemon from my daughter’s VERY LONG “To Do” list that she began putting together since Pokemon Go came out.  She has been adding two to three Pokemon to the list just about every time I get one on the list done.  This pattern includes the color list for Delcatty and Shiny Delcatty.

MATERIALS:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny alternative in parenthesis):  Lemon, purple (perfect pink), black and white.
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
2 Chenille stems (1 yellow, 1 lavender) or floral wire.

BODY:

Rd 1:      With lemon, 9 sc in magic ring.  (9)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (27)
Rd 4:      sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times.  (31)

Rw 3:     Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew SIDEBURNS to HEAD.  Weave in ends.

NECK WRAP:

STUFF NECK WRAP MODERATELY.
Rd 48:    sc2tog around.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 48, pull tightly and secure.  Wrap NECK WRAP around NECK and sew in place.  Sew ends of NECK WRAP together.  Weave in ends.\
