AKO YAMI

This is the next in a long list of original concepts drawn by an Etsy customer of mine.  Lately, he has been having me make plush based on drawings of his.  He has ordered many Pokemon plush from me.  I used many pieces of a previous creation of mine for this customer to make creating Dragon Man a little easier and done at a faster pace than starting from scratch.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Red, black, white, gold, yellow and taupe.
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Wooden skewer
Silver paint
Glue

LOOP STITCH:
1. Wrap the yarn from front to back over the index finger of your yarn hand.
2. Insert the hook in the next stitch, grab the strand of yarn from behind your index finger, and draw the yarn through the stitch.
3. With the yarn loop still on your finger, yarn over the hook and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on your hook.

ARMS (MAKE 2):

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 2, pull tightly and secure.  Feed NECKLACE BEADS onto piece of black yarn tying a double knot between each NECKLACE BEAD.  Wrap NECKLACE around neck of AKO YAMI and secure.

Place SHORTS on AKO YAMI and sew back seam closed.

FOX LOGO:

Cut wooden skewer 6-inches from tip.  Paint skewer silver.

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff TAIL firmly.  Sew TAIL to back of SHORTS.  Weave in ends.

TAIL BAND:
Rw 1: With gold, ch 37, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (36)
Rws 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (36)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap TAIL BAND around TAIL and sew together.
