RAINBOW OF PASTELS WAVES BABY BLANKET

This is baby version of my Rainbow of Pastels Waves Blanket that I made for a friend from church. This blanket was requested by my aunt so that she can give it to one of her granddaughters that is due to have a baby in April. The difference to this version, other than size, is that my aunt requested that I skip the light peach on it.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: petunia, arctic ice, light green, pale yellow, and pale pink.
J crochet hook
Tapestry needle

BLANKET BODY:
Rw 1: With petunia, ch 156, 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across.
Rws 2-8: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to arctic ice after Rw 8.
Rws 9-16: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light green after Rw 16.
Rws 17-24: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale yellow after Rw 24.
Rws 25-32: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to pale pink after Rw 32.
Rws 33-40: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to petunia after Rw 40.
Rws 41-48: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to arctic ice after Rw 48.
Rws 49-56: Ch 2, turn; 2 dc in third ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch, [dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, (dc2tog) twice, dc in next 4 ch, 2 dc in next ch) across. Change to light green after Rw 56.
