MYSTERY BLOCK

This is the next item in a series of items from the various Mario games. This one is the Mystery Block from the various Mario games. For the Mystery Block, I use 3dc popcorn stitch for the white and gold stitches to make them stand out from the yellow background of the block.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Yellow, white, and gold.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

BLOCK:

Rw 1: With yellow, ch 28, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (27)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next sc, change to gold, popcorn st in next sc, change to yellow, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, popcorn st in next sc, change to yellow, sc in next 2 sc, change to gold, popcorn st in next sc, change to yellow, sc in next sc) 3 times. (27)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (27)
