HAT KID (A HAT IN TIME)

This is a request from a customer on Shopify. Hat Kid is a character from the game “A Hat in Time.” The customer saw that I had made The Snatcher from the same game. She asked if I could make Hat Kid with 3 outfits. The Size 7 crochet hook is only used with the silver crochet cotton to make the ZIPPER PULL TAB that is attached to the BUTTON on the CAPE. The CAPE is used with both the UNBRELLA OUTFIT and WITCH OUTFIT.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn – For Doll: buff, café latte, perfect pink, and black.
For Umbrella Outfit: Amethyst, gold, coffee, delft blue, yellow, cream, and silver crochet cotton.
For Raincoat outfit: medium purple and yellow.
For Witch outfit: navy blue, gold, flame, medium purple, and silver crochet cotton.
D and Size 7 (Only used for ZIPPER PULL TAB) crochet hook

With café latte, fringe 2 pieces of desired lengths starting at top and working down back of head to ear line. Attach 2 pieces of yarn in front of each EAR and glue down. Cut to shoulder length. Attach short pieces along the front of hair and glue flowing to the right. Tie the hair in a ponytail.


FACE:
Using rose and black, embroider the mouth on HAT KID. Using black, embroider the eyelashes and the eyebrows on HAT KID.
