Team Rocket Z-Power Ring with removable Z Crystal

 
This pattern should have been designed from the beginning. This Team Rocket Z-Power Ring is made so that the Z Crystal can be changed out. Consult the pattern catalog for the patterns for the Z Crystals.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: purple, lilac, white, black, and gray.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
Center Release Buckle
1 set of small snaps

CENTER PLATE BOTTOM:
Rw 1: With purple, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (9)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (11)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (13)
Rws 7-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (13)
Rw 14: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 9 sc, sc2tog. (11)
Rw 15: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog. (9)
Rw 16: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog, sc in next 3 sc, sc3tog. (5)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew top and bottom edges together. Weave in ends.

CENTER PLATE TOP:
Rw 1: With purple, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (9)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (11)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (13)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next 9 sc, change to purple, sc in next 2 sc. (13)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Using pewter, embroider circle around “logo.” Sew bottom edges together. Weave in ends. Sew small snaps on CENTER TOP PLATE.

WRIST BAND (COMPLETE ON BOTH SIDES OF CENTER PLATE TOP):
Rw 1: Attach lilac in the side of Rw 6 of CENTER PLATE TOP, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 2 Rws, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc. (7)
Rws 2-29: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Rw 30: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Feed WRIST BAND through each side of the CENTER RELEASE BUCKLE and sew Rw 15 to the side of CENTER PLATE BOTTOM. Sew sides of WRIST BAND closed. Weave in ends.

TOP EDGE OF CENTER PLATE:
Rw 1: Working through both thicknesses, attach white in the side of Rw 13, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 2 Rws, hdc in next 3 Rws, working in sc of Rw 13, (2 hdc, dc, 2 hdc) in next sc, hdc in next 3 Rws, sc in next 2 Rws, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st in same Rw as last sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
